Flaky Puff Pastry with Brie, Cranberries and Toasted Walnuts

A simple yet delightful pastry filled with creamy Brie cheese, tart cranberries, and crunchy walnuts, perfect as a snack or appetizer.

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (250 g), thawed
  • 4 oz Brie cheese, sliced
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries (40 g)
  • 1/4 cup toasted walnuts, chopped
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Honey (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a floured surface.
  3. Cut the pastry into squares or circles based on your preference.
  4. Place a slice of Brie on each piece of pastry.
  5. Top with a few dried cranberries and toasted walnuts.
  6. Fold the pastry over to enclose the filling and seal the edges.
  7. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Drizzle with honey before serving.
