Frosted Icicle Christmas Cocoa

A magical and festive hot cocoa with a creamy texture and peppermint flavor, topped with whipped cream and edible shimmer dust.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips or chopped white chocolate
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • A few drops of blue food coloring
  • Whipped cream (for topping)
  • Edible shimmer dust or luster dust
  • Crushed peppermint or colored sugar (for frosted rim)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine milk, heavy cream, and white chocolate.
  2. Whisk until everything has melted and the mixture is smooth.
  3. Stir in the peppermint extract and a few drops of blue food coloring.
  4. Prepare your cups by dipping their rims in water or syrup, then place the rims into crushed peppermint or colored sugar to frost them.
  5. Pour the hot cocoa into the prepared cups.
  6. Top each cup with whipped cream and sprinkle edible shimmer dust on top for a frosty effect.

Notes
