Gingerbread Maple Latte

A cozy drink that brightens up any day with sweet maple flavor mixed with warm spices, perfect for chilly mornings or a special holiday treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup brewed espresso or strong coffee
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • A pinch of nutmeg
  • Whipped cream
  • Cookie crumbs

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, pour in the milk and heat it over medium heat. Stir occasionally to avoid burning until warm but not boiling.
  2. Once warm, add maple syrup, ground ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix well.
  3. Brew your espresso or strong coffee while the milk is warming.
  4. Pour the brewed coffee into a large mug and add the warm milk and spice mixture. Stir gently.
  5. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle cookie crumbs on top.

Notes

Best enjoyed warm. Can be customized with more milk or maple syrup. Top with extra cookie crumbs for a delightful presentation.
