Holiday Golden Coquito

A traditional Puerto Rican beverage, Holiday Golden Coquito is a creamy coconut-based drink that mixes perfectly with rum and spices, ideal for festive celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 1 can Cream of Coconut
  • 1 can Coconut Milk
  • 1 can Evaporated Milk
  • ½ cup Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 cup golden rum
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp. Ground Cinnamon
  • ⅛ tsp. ground nutmeg
  • Cinnamon Sticks (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In the bowl of your blender, combine the cream of coconut, coconut milk, evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, golden rum, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg.
  2. Blend the mixture on high speed until it is well combined and smooth, about 1 to 2 minutes.
  3. Pour the coconut mixture into glass bottles and cover them tightly.
  4. Place the bottles in the refrigerator and chill the coquito until it is cold, about 1 hour.
  5. To serve, shake or stir the bottle well, pour the coquito into small serving glasses, and garnish with a sprinkle of ground cinnamon and a cinnamon stick.

Notes

Store coquito refrigerated for up to 4 to 6 weeks.
