Grandma’s Cold-Weather Favorite

A warm, comforting meal featuring tender chicken, fresh vegetables, and rich chicken broth, perfect for chilly nights.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups of chicken broth
  • 2 cups of cooked shredded chicken
  • 1 cup of mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
  • 1 cup of egg noodles

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a boil over medium-high heat.
  2. Once boiling, add the cooked shredded chicken into the pot. Stir well.
  3. Toss in the mixed vegetables.
  4. Add the egg noodles to the pot. Stir everything together.
  5. Lower the heat and let the dish simmer for about 10-12 minutes, until the noodles are cooked.
  6. Season with salt and pepper as desired.
  7. Serve hot in bowls and enjoy.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, substitute chicken broth with vegetable broth and use cooked beans or tofu. You can also customize the noodles or add spices and herbs for extra flavor.
