Grandma’s Gluten-Free Peach Crisp

A warm and comforting gluten-free dessert made with sweet peaches and a crunchy topping, perfect for any season.

  • 6 cups fresh or frozen peaches, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup gluten-free rolled oats
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cut into cubes

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, gently toss the sliced peaches with lemon juice, granulated sugar, all-purpose flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Pour this mixture into a greased 8×8 inch baking dish.
  3. In a separate medium bowl, combine the almond flour, gluten-free rolled oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Add the cold butter cubes to the dry topping ingredients. Cut the butter into the mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  5. Evenly sprinkle the almond flour topping over the peach mixture in the baking dish.
  6. Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the peach filling is bubbly.
  7. Let the crisp cool for about 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, and store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to three days or freeze for up to three months.
