Grapefruit Basil Mocktail

A refreshing mocktail combining tart grapefruit juice and aromatic basil, sweetened with agave syrup and topped with fizzy soda water.

Ingredients

  • 3 oz fresh grapefruit juice
  • 45 basil leaves, muddled
  • 1/2 oz agave syrup
  • 2 oz soda water
  • Ice cubes
  • Grapefruit wedge for garnish
  • Basil sprig for garnish

Instructions

  1. Muddle basil leaves at the bottom of a tall glass using a muddler.
  2. Add ice cubes to the glass.
  3. Pour fresh grapefruit juice over the ice.
  4. Add agave syrup for sweetness.
  5. Top with soda water for fizz.
  6. Garnish with a grapefruit wedge and a sprig of basil.
  7. Stir gently and enjoy!

Notes

Best served fresh, but may be stored for a short time in the refrigerator. Avoid freezing as it compromises texture.
