Grinch Punch

A vibrant and festive drink perfect for holiday gatherings, combining lime sherbet, fruity punches, and a fizzy finish.

Ingredients

  • 2 quarts lime-flavored sherbet
  • 64 ounces Hawaiian Punch, green berry rush
  • 32 ounces pineapple juice
  • 1 liter bottle lemon-lime soft drink (Sprite, 7 Up, Slice, or a generic version)
  • 3.8 ounces red sugar crystals (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large punch bowl or extra-large mixing bowl, add the lime sherbet.
  2. Slowly pour in the Hawaiian Punch, pineapple juice, and soda over the sherbet.
  3. Pour the red sugar crystals into a shallow bowl and dip just the rim of the serving glasses in it, rotating to coat completely.
  4. Ladle the punch into a serving pitcher or directly into prepared glasses.
  5. Store any leftover punch in the refrigerator overnight, noting that the flavor will change.
  6. Add the soda just before serving to maintain carbonation.
  7. Optionally, rub the rim of the glass with corn syrup before dipping in the sugar crystals for better adherence.

Notes

For a festive touch, serve with red sugar rims and consider garnishing with mint leaves or lime wedges.
