Hawaiian Huli Huli Chicken Stack

  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together sesame oil, ginger, garlic, brown sugar, soy sauce, pineapple juice, and teriyaki sauce to create the marinade.
  2. Place the chicken in the marinade, ensuring it’s well-coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes or overnight in the refrigerator for best flavor.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Grill the marinated chicken for 6-8 minutes on each side until fully cooked and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F. Baste with leftover marinade while grilling.
  5. Remove chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Slice if desired.
