Licorice Root Tea

A soothing herbal tea made with licorice root, perfect for easing sore throats and digestion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tablespoon dried licorice root, chopped or shredded
  • 2 cups fresh, cold water
  • Optional add-ins: Fresh ginger, lemon, cinnamon stick

Instructions

  1. Plop the licorice root straight into a small pot.
  2. Add your water.
  3. Bring it to a boil, then let it simmer gently for about 10–14 minutes.
  4. Strain out the root bits.
  5. Pour, sip, and enjoy your comforting tea.

Notes

Can be sweetened, but optional. For extra flavor, add ginger or other herbs.
