Healthy Chinese Ground Beef & Cabbage Stir Fry

A quick and nourishing dinner option featuring lean ground beef and fresh vegetables, making it both filling and flavorful.

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/2 head green cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium carrot, julienned
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the julienned carrot and sliced cabbage, cooking until the cabbage is tender, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  5. Serve hot, on its own or over rice.

Notes

For added flavor, consider garnishing with sesame seeds or sliced green onions. You can also swap out the ground beef for turkey or tofu for a different protein.
