Homemade Baked Chicken Tenders

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray or olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Set up a breading station with three shallow bowls: flour in one, beaten eggs in the second, and a mixture of breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in the third.
  3. Dip each chicken strip in the flour, then in the beaten eggs, and finally in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to ensure the crumbs adhere.
  4. Place the coated chicken strips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Lightly spray the strips with cooking spray or drizzle olive oil over them.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked, flipping halfway through.
  7. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Leftover chicken tenders can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days or frozen for up to 2-3 months.
