Homemade Mocha Latte

A creamy, sweet, and chocolatey mocha latte that’s easy to make at home.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk of choice
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla syrup
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 oz espresso or 8 oz freshly brewed coffee
  • Whipped cream (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat the milk, chocolate chips, vanilla syrup, and cocoa powder in a saucepan over medium-low heat.
  2. Whisk frequently until melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and froth the mixture, or shake in a jar if no frother is available.
  4. Brew the espresso or coffee and pour it into a mug.
  5. Pour the frothed chocolate milk over the coffee.
  6. Garnish with whipped cream and optional toppings.
  7. Sip and enjoy your homemade mocha latte!

Notes

For variations, try adding peppermint extract for Mint Mocha or a drizzle of caramel for Caramel Mocha.
