Homemade Rosemary Latte

A delightful twist on your traditional coffee drink, combining espresso and creamy milk with the aromatic essence of rosemary.

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces brewed espresso
  • 8 ounces low-fat milk (or soy or gluten-free oat milk)
  • 2 tsp rosemary simple syrup
  • Fresh rosemary, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Brew 2 ounces of espresso using your coffee maker or espresso machine.
  2. Steam 8 ounces of milk until hot and frothy, or heat in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until warm.
  3. Pour the espresso into a warmed cappuccino cup.
  4. Pour the steamed milk carefully on top of the espresso.
  5. Add 2 teaspoons of rosemary simple syrup into the cup and stir gently.
  6. Garnish with fresh rosemary.

Notes

This latte can be enjoyed plain or with additional toppings like cinnamon or nutmeg. Leftover milk or syrup can be stored in the fridge for a few days.
