A warm and comforting drink that combines rich chocolate flavors with the boldness of coffee, perfect for cozy days.

  • 1 cup of brewed coffee or 1 shot of espresso
  • 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream or marshmallows (for topping, optional)
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Brew the Coffee: Brew your coffee using your preferred method.
  2. Heat the Milk: Pour the milk into a small pot and heat it over low to medium heat until warm (not boiling).
  3. Mix Cocoa and Sugar: In a separate bowl, combine the cocoa powder, sugar, and salt.
  4. Combine Cocoa with Milk: Whisk the cocoa mixture into the warm milk until smooth.
  5. Add Vanilla: Stir in the vanilla extract.
  6. Combine Coffee and Hot Chocolate: Gradually add the brewed coffee to the hot chocolate mixture, stirring well.
  7. Serve: Pour into mugs and top with whipped cream or marshmallows, if desired.
