Golden Milk Paste

A quick and delicious drink made with turmeric and spices, perfect for cold weather and full of health benefits.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Turmeric powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1/4 cup Ginger powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons Coconut oil (optional)
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • Maple syrup or honey (Optional for sweetness)

Instructions

  1. In a small pan, combine turmeric powder, black pepper, ginger powder, and cinnamon.
  2. Add enough water to make a paste (about 1/2 cup).
  3. Heat on low while stirring frequently for about 5 minutes or until thickened.
  4. If desired, stir in coconut oil for creaminess.
  5. Remove from heat, let it cool, and store in a glass jar.

Notes

This paste can be refrigerated for up to two weeks. Use a plastic spoon for serving to avoid staining.
