Iced Cardamom Rose Latte: The Dreamy Floral Coffee Alternative Perfect for Summer

Iced Cardamom Rose Latte

This Iced Cardamom Rose Latte is a dreamy, aromatic beverage made with black tea, cardamom, and rosewater. It’s the perfect coffee alternative with a floral, spiced twist and gentle caffeine lift – ideal for warm days and peaceful afternoon breaks.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup strong brewed black tea (chilled)
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based, like oat or almond)
  • 12 teaspoons rosewater (start with 1)
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 12 teaspoons sweetener (maple syrup, honey, or agave – optional)
  • Ice cubes
  • Dried rose petals, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brew black tea strong (using 2 bags or 2 tsp loose leaf per 1 cup). Let cool, then chill.
  2. In a shaker or jar with a lid, combine chilled tea, milk, rosewater, cardamom, and sweetener if using.
  3. Shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds to mix and froth.
  4. Fill a tall glass with ice. Pour the latte over the ice.
  5. Garnish with dried rose petals if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

Start light on the rosewater – you can always add more later. For extra richness, use coconut or oat milk. For stronger spice, add a pinch of cinnamon or vanilla. Enjoy after yoga or as a caffeine-light afternoon treat.
