Iced Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai Latte {Starbucks Copycat}

A cozy and creamy iced latte featuring gingerbread flavors, perfect for chilly days and homemade enjoyment.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon molasses
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ⅛ teaspoon ground cloves
  • ⅛ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 chai tea bags
  • Cold oatmilk (to top)
  • Ice (for serving)

Instructions

  1. In a small pot, combine water, brown sugar, and molasses. Heat until the sugar melts, about 3 minutes.
  2. Add ground ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg. Let it bubble for a few minutes, then cool down.
  3. Strain the syrup if desired and store in the fridge.
  4. Brew 2 chai tea bags in ½ cup hot water for 5-6 minutes.
  5. Pour the hot chai over a tall glass of ice.
  6. Add 2 tablespoons of gingerbread syrup (adjust to taste).
  7. Top with cold oatmilk and stir well.
  8. Optional: Add coconut cold foam and garnish with cinnamon or a ginger snap cookie.

Notes

Customize with vanilla chai or different milks. Serve with ginger cookies or pastries for a full experience.
