Iced Lavender Moon Milk

A calm, creamy drink that mixes gentle lavender with milk for a light and floral taste, perfect for bedtime or as a refreshing afternoon treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1/2 tsp dried culinary lavender or lavender extract
  • 1 tsp honey or sweetener
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Warm the milk gently in a small saucepan until it’s warm but not boiling (about 20–30 seconds in the microwave is also fine).
  2. Add the dried lavender to the warm milk, stir, and let steep for 5–10 minutes.
  3. Strain the milk through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a pitcher to remove lavender buds.
  4. Chill the lavender-infused milk completely in the fridge (1–2 hours or set the pitcher in an ice bath for faster chilling).
  5. Fill a glass with ice and pour in the cooled lavender milk.
  6. Stir in honey or sweetener to taste, then garnish with a small pinch of dried lavender or a swirl of honey.

Notes

For a lower-calorie option, use unsweetened almond or oat milk. This drink can be meal prepped and stored for up to 3 days.
