Immune Boosting Tea

A delightful and warm beverage that strengthens your immune system with natural ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon dried echinacea root
  • 1 tablespoon dried elderberries
  • 1 tablespoon dried rosehips
  • 1 teaspoon dried ginger root or 1 tablespoon fresh ginger root
  • 1 teaspoon dried turmeric root or 1 tablespoon fresh turmeric root
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 5 cups water
  • Honey or lemon (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients into a saucepan.
  2. Add 5 cups of water and slowly heat the mixture to a boil.
  3. Reduce the heat to a minimum and let it steep for 20 minutes or longer.
  4. Strain the herbal material and drink pure warm tea slowly, enjoying every sip.
  5. Add honey or lemon to taste.

Notes

Enjoy this tea warm, especially during cold and flu season. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to five days.
