Indian Cinnamon Tea

A warm and comforting Indian cinnamon tea, perfect for chilly days, combining tea, cinnamon, and milk for a delightful beverage.

Ingredients

  • 1 inch cinnamon stick
  • 2 tsp tea powder
  • 2 cups water
  • ½ cup milk
  • Sugar to taste

Instructions

  1. Bring one cup of water to a boil in a pot.
  2. When the water is boiling, add 2 teaspoons of tea powder.
  3. Add the cinnamon stick to the boiling water.
  4. Pour in half a cup of milk.
  5. Add sugar to taste, depending on how sweet you want your tea.
  6. Let everything boil together on a low flame for about 5 minutes.
  7. Switch off the flame and remove the pot from the stove.
  8. Use a strainer to strain the tea into cups.
  9. Serve the warm Indian cinnamon tea immediately.

Notes

Enhance your tea with a garnish of cinnamon on top. Pairs well with biscuits or breakfast items.
