Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1/4 cup fruit preserves (strawberry, raspberry, or your favorite)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar (optional, for dusting)

Instructions

  3. Place half of the heart shapes on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Add a small dollop of fruit preserves in the center of each heart, leaving a small border.
  5. Brush the edges with the beaten egg, then place another heart shape on top and press the edges together to seal. Use a fork to crimp the edges.
  6. Brush the tops of the hearts with the remaining egg wash.
