Lactation Smoothie for Breastfeeding Moms

This Lactation Smoothie is a nutritious and delicious way to support milk production for breastfeeding moms.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 tbsp. cashews
  • 1 tbsp. flax meal
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. quick oats
  • 1 tsp. debittered brewer’s yeast
  • 2 cups almond milk (or your milk of choice)
  • 1 scoop vanilla whey Shakeology (or OraOrganics So Lean and So Clean)

Instructions

  1. Add all the wet ingredients to the blender: almond milk and banana.
  2. Add frozen blueberries and cashews.
  3. Sprinkle in the dry ingredients: flax meal, quick oats, and brewer’s yeast.
  4. Blend everything together until smooth.
  5. Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy immediately.

Notes

For a nice look, add extra blueberries on top when serving. This smoothie can be stored in the fridge for up to 24 hours or frozen for a month.
