Lavender Chamomile Iced Tea

A refreshing iced tea combining the soothing properties of chamomile with the fragrant aroma of lavender, perfect for warm days.

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp dried chamomile
  • 1/2 tsp dried lavender
  • 2 cups hot water
  • Optional: honey
  • Optional: lemon

Instructions

  1. Steep the Dried Ingredients: Place the dried chamomile and lavender in a tea strainer or directly in a teapot. Pour the hot water over the herbs.
  2. Infuse the Flavor: Allow the mixture to steep for about 5-10 minutes.
  3. Strain and Cool: Strain the mixture to remove the herbs. Pour the tea into a pitcher and chill it in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
  4. Serve and Enjoy: Serve the tea over ice in glasses. Add honey for sweetness and lemon for a refreshing twist if desired.

Notes

Store leftover tea in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. Freeze tea in ice cube trays for a refreshing addition to drinks later.
