Lavender Horchata Latte

A cozy and floral twist on the classic London Fog, infused with lavender and cinnamon, perfect for a soothing drink any time of day.

Ingredients

  • 12 tablespoons Loose-leaf Earl Grey tea or 2 tea bags
  • 1 tablespoon Dried culinary lavender
  • 1 Cinnamon stick or a pinch of ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup Rice milk or homemade horchata
  • 12 tablespoons Honey, maple syrup, or vanilla syrup for sweetness
  • Optional: frothed milk

Instructions

  1. Add the Earl Grey tea, lavender, and cinnamon stick (or ground cinnamon) to a large mug.
  2. Pour in hot water and let it steep for about 4 minutes.
  3. Heat the rice milk or horchata until steamy but not boiling, frothing if desired.
  4. Strain the tea and lavender from the mug.
  5. Pour the steamy milk into the mug and sweeten with honey or maple syrup, stirring well.
  6. Sprinkle a little cinnamon on top for garnish.
