Lavender Milk Tea

Lavender milk tea is a calming, aromatic beverage that blends the floral notes of lavender with the creaminess of milk. Whether you enjoy it warm before bedtime or iced on a hot day, this lavender milk tea recipe is simple, delicious, and can be customized in many ways.

  • 1 tbsp culinary-grade dried lavender buds
  • ½ cup hot water
  • 1 cup milk of choice (oat, almond, soy, or dairy)
  • 12 tsp sweetener (maple syrup, honey, or agave)
  • Optional: ½ tsp vanilla extract, cinnamon, or cardamom

Instructions

  1. Add lavender buds to hot water and let steep for 5 minutes.
  2. Strain using a fine mesh sieve or tea infuser.
  3. Heat milk in a saucepan until warm but not boiling.
  4. If making a lavender latte, froth the milk using a milk frother.
  5. Pour the strained lavender tea into a cup.
  6. Add warm milk and sweetener to taste.

Notes
