Lilac Almond Cloud Latte

A delightful drink that combines the floral charm of lilacs with the creamy texture of almond milk, perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 cup barista-style almond milk
  • 1/4 cup lilac tea (steeped from pesticide-free petals)
  • 1/2 tsp beet powder
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 Tbsp agave or maple syrup
  • Pinch sea salt
  • Edible lilac florets for garnish

Instructions

  1. Bring the almond milk to a gentle warmth in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add the beet powder, vanilla extract, agave or maple syrup, and a pinch of sea salt to the warm almond milk.
  3. Whisk these ingredients together until well mixed and the beet powder is fully dissolved.
  4. Use a frother or whisk vigorously until the almond milk becomes thick and frothy.
  5. Prepare the lilac tea by steeping the pesticide-free lilac petals in hot water for a few minutes.
  6. Pour the lilac tea into a mug, filling it about halfway.
  7. Gently float the pink almond cloud on top of the lilac tea by pouring it slowly over the back of a spoon.
  8. Sprinkle some edible lilac florets on top for decoration.
