Longhorn Steakhouse Parmesan Chicken

A delightful dish combining tender chicken breasts with a crispy, cheesy crust, perfect for family dinners or special occasions.

  • 4 chicken breasts, boneless skinless
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a shallow dish, mix together the bread crumbs, half of the grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. In a second dish, beat the eggs and milk together. Place the flour in the third dish.
  3. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip into the egg mixture, and then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the coated chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish.
  6. Mix the remaining Parmesan cheese with the mozzarella and minced garlic. Spread this mixture over each chicken breast.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until the chicken reaches 165°F (75°C) and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

Serve hot with extra Parmesan and a side of pasta, vegetables, or salad.
