Maple Latte

A delightful drink that combines the rich taste of coffee with the sweet flavor of maple syrup, perfect for any time of day.

Ingredients

  • 13 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 2 shots espresso (or 3 ounces strongly brewed coffee)
  • 1/8 teaspoon maple extract (optional)
  • 812 ounces milk of choice

Instructions

  1. Brew the espresso or strong coffee.
  2. Mix the brewed espresso with maple syrup in a small bowl.
  3. Add maple extract if using.
  4. Heat milk until hot but not boiling.
  5. Froth the milk until creamy.
  6. Pour frothed milk over the espresso mixture, spooning foam on top.
  7. Optionally sprinkle with cinnamon or nutmeg.
  8. For iced, mix espresso and syrup, add to a tall glass filled with ice, top with cold milk, and stir well.

Notes

Serve hot or iced with a sprinkle of whipped cream and a drizzle of maple syrup for extra sweetness.
