Maple Latte

A delightful drink combining espresso, creamy milk, and the warm sweetness of maple syrup, perfect for any time of day.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk (preferably whole milk)
  • ½ cup espresso (or strong coffee)
  • 2 tablespoons real maple syrup
  • Whipped cream (for garnish, optional)
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Hot Maple Latte
    1. Brew ½ cup of espresso.
    2. Heat 1 cup of milk in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring gently until hot.
    3. Add 2 tablespoons of maple syrup to the hot milk and stir well.
    4. Pour the hot espresso into a large mug, then add the milk and syrup mixture.
    5. Garnish with whipped cream and a pinch of cinnamon, if desired.
    6. Enjoy your hot maple latte!
  2. Iced Maple Latte
    1. Brew ½ cup of espresso and let it cool.
    2. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
    3. Mix 1 cup of cold milk with 2 tablespoons of maple syrup in a separate container.
    4. Pour the cooled espresso over the ice.
    5. Add the milk and maple syrup mixture over the espresso.
    6. Garnish with whipped cream and cinnamon, if desired.
    7. Stir before drinking and enjoy!

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh; can be stored in the fridge for 2 days without ice. Not recommended for freezing.
