Maple Spiced Latte

A delightful drink that combines rich espresso flavor with sweet maple syrup, creamy milk, and warming spices.

  • 4 oz. espresso shot or strongly brewed coffee
  • 4 oz. half and half or whole milk
  • 3 tbsp. maple syrup
  • 1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 dash ground nutmeg
  • Whipped cream (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat the Milk: Heat milk in a microwave for 30 seconds or in a small saucepan until steamy but not boiling.
  2. Brew Coffee: Brew espresso or strongly brewed coffee and pour it into a coffee mug.
  3. Add Maple Syrup: Stir maple syrup into the hot coffee and mix well.
  4. Froth the Milk: Froth the warm milk until doubled in volume or shake in a sealed jar.
  5. Combine All Ingredients: Pour frothed milk into the coffee mug, holding back foam.
  6. Add Spices: Sprinkle ground cinnamon on top and stir gently.
  7. Garnish: Top with whipped cream, adding a dash of nutmeg and more cinnamon if desired.
  8. Enjoy: Serve warm and cozy!

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days. Do not freeze.
