Marinated Mozzarella

A delightful dish combining mozzarella cheese with fresh herbs and spices, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon minced chives
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 pound cubed part-skim mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, sun-dried tomatoes, parsley, red pepper flakes, dried basil, chives, and garlic powder.
  2. Add the cheese cubes to the bowl.
  3. Stir to coat the cheese cubes well with the mixture.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Marinated mozzarella is best served chilled. It can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
