Marry Me Chicken Sliders

Delicious sliders filled with rotisserie chicken, creamy sauce, and cheese, all nestled in soft King’s Hawaiian sweet rolls.

  • ¾ cup (178.5 g) heavy whipping cream
  • ½ cup (810 whole) sun-dried tomatoes (soaked in hot water, drained, and chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • ⅓ cup (33 g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cups rotisserie chicken (shredded)
  • 1 package (12 count) King’s Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • ½ cup (15 g) fresh baby spinach
  • 1 cup (113 g) Monterey Jack cheese (shredded)
  • ¼ cup (½ stick / 57 g) unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a 7×11-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy whipping cream, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic powder, kosher salt, black pepper, crushed red pepper flakes, and Parmesan cheese.
  4. Add the shredded rotisserie chicken and mix until well-coated.
  5. Slice the King’s Hawaiian sweet rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom half in the baking dish.
  6. Spread the chicken mixture over the rolls, top with fresh baby spinach, and sprinkle with Monterey Jack cheese.
  7. Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese layer.
  8. Mix melted butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley in a small bowl and brush over the top of the rolls.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the tops of the rolls are golden brown.
  10. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before slicing into individual sliders.

Notes

Serve warm and enjoy with sides like crispy potato wedges or a refreshing salad.
