  • Ice water

Instructions

  1. Start with older eggs that are easier to peel.
  2. Gently lower the eggs into boiling water.
  3. Set a timer for 10-12 minutes.
  4. For a jammy yolk, lower the time to about 9 minutes.
  5. Once the timer dings, transfer eggs immediately to ice water.
  6. Allow eggs to chill and then tap shells to make peeling easier.

Notes

For best results, avoid fresh eggs and always use an ice bath after boiling.
