  • 2 packages (8 oz each) full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon mint extract
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil or melted butter
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • Optional: chopped mint leaves or green food coloring

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven according to cake mix instructions.
  2. Prepare the chocolate cake layer as per the box instructions.
  3. For the cheesecake layer, beat the cream cheese until smooth, then mix in the sugar, eggs, and mint extract until combined.
  4. Layer the chocolate cake batter and cheesecake batter in a greased pan, swirling them for a marbled effect if desired.
  5. Bake until set but not completely dry, following the cake mix baking times.
  6. Let the cake cool completely before slicing.

Notes
