Non-Alcoholic Mulled Wine

Warm and comforting non-alcoholic mulled wine made with juices and spices, perfect for chilly months and holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups pomegranate juice
  • 2 cups cranberry juice
  • 750 ml bottle of non-alcoholic Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon
  • 2 cups water (optional)
  • 8 cloves
  • 6 blackberries (optional)
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3 star anise
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • Brown sugar to taste

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a large saucepan.
  2. Bring to a very low boil on medium-high heat.
  3. Turn the heat to low and let it simmer for 20-30 minutes.
  4. Strain the mixture to remove the orange slices and spices.
  5. Pour the warm mulled wine into a mug and add any desired garnish, such as a cinnamon stick or slice of orange.

Notes

Garnish with a slice of orange or cinnamon stick. Best enjoyed warm. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to three days.
