Healthy Pear Ginger Chia Smoothie

A refreshing and nutritious smoothie made with ripe pears, ginger, and chia seeds, perfect for breakfast or a healthy snack.

  • 1 ripe pear, chopped and seeded
  • 1 1/2 cups almond milk, unsweetened
  • 1 packed cup baby spinach
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/4 tsp fresh ginger, peeled and minced
  • Optional: 1 tbsp maple syrup or sweetener of your choice

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the almond milk with chia seeds, ensuring they are well mixed.
  2. Refrigerate the mixture for 10 minutes to allow the chia seeds to gel.
  3. Place the chopped pear, spinach, and minced ginger into a high-powered blender.
  4. After 10 minutes, whisk the chia seed-milk mixture again and pour it into the blender.
  5. Blend until smooth, about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Taste and adjust sweetness or ginger level according to preference.
  7. Serve immediately, optionally garnished with a slice of pear or chia seeds.

Notes

For best taste, enjoy fresh. Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
