Peppermint Mocha Delight

A delightful blend of rich cocoa, aromatic coffee, and refreshing peppermint, perfect for the chilly winter months.

  • 1 cup milk (or dairy-free alternative)
  • 1 shot espresso (or 1/3 cup strong brewed coffee)
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp sugar (or sweetener of choice)
  • 1 tbsp peppermint syrup
  • Whipped cream
  • Crushed candy canes for garnish

Instructions

  1. Begin by pouring the milk into a small saucepan. Heat the milk over medium heat until it is steaming. Do not let it boil.
  2. Once the milk is hot, add the cocoa powder and sugar. Use a whisk to mix everything together until it is smooth and there are no lumps.
  3. While the milk is heating, brew a shot of espresso or make 1/3 cup of strong coffee. Pour it into your favorite festive mug.
  4. Stir in the peppermint syrup to the brewed coffee.
  5. Gently pour the chocolatey milk over the coffee.
  6. Take a generous amount of whipped cream and swirl it on top of your drink.
  7. Sprinkle crushed candy canes over the whipped cream.
  8. Enjoy your festive drink!
