Pink Hibiscus Latte: A Floral Twist on Your Favorite Beverage

Pink Hibiscus Latte

A visually stunning, caffeine-free floral latte featuring the tart, fruity notes of hibiscus balanced with creamy milk – perfect for any time of day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 hibiscus tea bag (or 1 tablespoon loose dried hibiscus flowers)
  • 1/2 cup almond or oat milk (or preferred milk alternative)
  • 1 teaspoon honey (adjust to taste)
  • Optional: 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: Pinch of ground cinnamon or cardamom
  • Optional: Dried hibiscus flowers or rose petals for garnish

Instructions

  1. Bring 1/4 cup of water to a near boil (about 200°F).
  2. Place hibiscus tea bag in a mug and pour hot water over it.
  3. Steep for 5–7 minutes to create a concentrated brew.
  4. Remove the tea bag and stir in honey while still warm.
  5. Heat milk in a small saucepan until steaming but not boiling.
  6. Froth the milk using a frother, whisk, or jar shaking method.
  7. Pour hibiscus concentrate into serving glass.
  8. Slowly add frothed milk and spoon foam on top.
  9. Garnish with dried hibiscus or rose petals if desired.

Notes

Avoid boiling water for steeping to prevent bitterness. Oat milk froths better for a traditional latte feel. Adjust sweetener to match milk choice. Enhance pink color with freeze-dried berries or dragonfruit.
