Pistachio-Crusted Brie Bites

Delicious snacks made with creamy brie cheese wrapped in flaky puff pastry and topped with sweet cranberry chutney and crunchy pistachios.

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 small wheel of brie, chilled
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1/2 cup cranberry chutney or sauce
  • 1/4 cup shelled pistachios, chopped
  • Fresh thyme leaves (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven according to the puff pastry package instructions.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut it into squares.
  3. Place a piece of brie in the center of each square.
  4. Top the brie with cranberry chutney and sprinkle with chopped pistachios.
  5. Fold the corners of the pastry over the brie to create bites.
  6. Brush the pastry edges with an egg wash.
  7. Place the bites on a baking sheet and bake until golden brown, about 15-20 minutes.
  8. Garnish with fresh thyme leaves if using.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

These bites are best served warm and can be paired with fresh fruits, nuts, or a selection of crackers.
