Easy Breakfast Rolls

Quick and customizable breakfast rolls that are soft, fluffy, and perfect for busy mornings.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it froth for a few minutes.
  2. Add flour, salt, melted butter, and egg to the yeast mixture. Stir until combined.
  3. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover with a towel. Let it rise until doubled in size.
  5. Once risen, dump the dough onto a counter and squish out the air.
  6. Divide the dough into about 12 pieces and shape each into a round roll.
  7. Place the rolls on a parchment-lined baking tray and cover for 15 minutes.
  8. Brush with melted butter and bake until golden.

Notes

These rolls can be filled with cheese, jam, or herbs for added flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
