Cucumber Elderflower Lemonade

A refreshing summer drink combining cucumber, lemon, and elderflower syrup for a floral twist on traditional lemonade.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium cucumber, sliced
  • 45 lemons, juiced
  • 1/3 cup elderflower syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 45 cups cold water (or sparkling)
  • Optional: splash of honey or sugar, ice, and fresh mint for serving

Instructions

  1. Slice the cucumber into half-moons and add to a large pitcher.
  2. Squeeze the lemons into the pitcher, being careful to avoid splashes.
  3. Add the elderflower syrup and stir well.
  4. Fill the pitcher with cold water and stir again.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness as needed; add ice and garnish with mint if desired.

Notes

For a more unique flavor, substitute half the lemon juice with lime juice, or muddle strawberries with the cucumbers. Best served fresh, but can be made ahead of time.
