Cucumber Mint Detox Water

A refreshing and simple detox water made with cucumber and mint for a spa-like hydration experience.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 medium fresh cucumber, sliced thin
  • 815 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 liter (4 cups) chilled water
  • Plenty of ice
  • Optional: squeeze of lemon or lime

Instructions

  1. Slice the cucumber into thin rings or half-moons and place them in a pitcher.
  2. Bruise the mint leaves by slapping them to release their oils, then add them to the pitcher.
  3. Fill the pitcher with cold water and add as much ice as desired.
  4. Gently stir the mixture.
  5. For enhanced flavor, refrigerate for about an hour before serving, or enjoy it immediately.

Notes

For a twist, add leftover berries or ginger. Using frozen cucumber slices as ice cubes is a clever idea to keep it cold.
