Parsley Cilantro Detox Juice

A refreshing detox juice that combines parsley, cilantro, and apple for a vibrant, energizing drink.

Ingredients

  • 1 small bunch parsley (flat or curly)
  • 1 small bunch cilantro
  • 1 medium cucumber (peeled if necessary)
  • Juice of 1 large lemon or lime (or both)
  • 1 apple (any kind)
  • 1 cup cold water (ice optional)
  • Bit of fresh ginger (thumb-sized, optional)
  • Tiny pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Rinse the parsley and cilantro thoroughly.
  2. Chop the cucumber, apple, and ginger if using.
  3. In a blender, combine the cold water, chopped ingredients, and juice of the lemon/lime.
  4. Blend on high until bright green, about 1 minute.
  5. If desired, strain the juice or drink it as is for more fiber.
  6. Pour over ice and enjoy.

Notes

Chill ingredients beforehand for better taste. Fresh lemon or lime juice is recommended over bottled versions.
