Ruby Glow Christmas Cocoa

A delightful drink combining rich flavors of chocolate, cranberries, and spices for the holiday season.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup cranberry syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 23 drops red food coloring (optional)
  • Mini marshmallows
  • Cinnamon sugar for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine whole milk and heavy cream. Heat over medium heat until warm but not boiling.
  2. Reduce heat to low and stir in the white chocolate chips, stirring until melted and smooth.
  3. Mix in the cranberry syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract. Stir well to blend the flavors. If using, add red food coloring to achieve a rich ruby-red color.
  4. Pour the cocoa into mugs and top with a generous layer of mini marshmallows. Dust with a light sprinkle of cinnamon sugar for a festive touch.

Notes

This cocoa can be stored in the fridge for up to three days and reheated gently on the stove.
