Rustic Garlic Rosemary Skillet Bread

A simple, fragrant, and satisfying skillet bread infused with garlic and rosemary.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp instant yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
  • Additional flour for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, and yeast.
  2. Add warm water and mix until a rough dough forms.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and chopped rosemary.
  4. Cover the bowl with a cloth and let it rise for 1-2 hours until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
  6. Shape the dough into a round loaf and place it in the skillet.
  7. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the bottom is golden brown.
  8. Carefully flip the bread and cook the other side for another 5-7 minutes.
  9. Remove from the skillet and let cool slightly before serving.
