Saffron-Rose Golden Milk Cooler

A luxurious summer refreshment blending anti-inflammatory turmeric, mood-enhancing saffron, and delicate rose syrup in creamy chilled coconut milk – an elegant, healthful drink that looks as beautiful as it tastes.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup light coconut milk, chilled
  • ½ teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 3 saffron threads, steeped in 1 tablespoon warm water
  • 1 tablespoon rose syrup
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional)
  • Ice cubes
  • Garnish: extra saffron threads and rose petals

Instructions

  1. Place saffron threads in a small bowl with 1 tablespoon warm water and steep for 5–10 minutes.
  2. In a mixing glass, whisk together chilled coconut milk and ground turmeric until fully incorporated.
  3. Add the saffron and its steeping water along with maple syrup if using; stir well.
  4. Add the rose syrup and mix gently.
  5. Fill a cocktail shaker or jar with ice cubes.
  6. Pour in the golden milk mixture and shake until well chilled.
  7. Strain into a glass filled with fresh ice.
  8. Garnish with saffron threads and rose petals.
  9. Serve immediately and enjoy the glow.

Notes

Use warm—not hot—water to steep saffron. Start with less rose syrup and adjust to taste. Use refrigerated coconut milk beverage (not canned) for ideal texture. Strain if turmeric doesn’t fully blend. Shake thoroughly to chill and froth lightly.
