Santa’s Hat Shirley Temple

A festive twist on the classic Shirley Temple drink, combining ginger ale, lemon-lime soda, and grenadine for a refreshing holiday beverage.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons confectioners sugar
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • 3 tablespoons shredded sweetened coconut
  • 1 tablespoon grenadine (for each drink)
  • Ginger ale
  • Lemon-lime soda (such as Sprite or 7-Up)
  • Maraschino cherries (for garnish)
  • Candy cane (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare glass rim(s): Place shredded coconut on a small plate. Put confectioners sugar on a separate plate. Mix water with sugar until combined. Dip the glass rim into the sugar mixture, then into the coconut to coat.
  2. Prepare drink: Fill the prepared glass with ice, add grenadine, and fill halfway with ginger ale and lemon-lime soda. Garnish with maraschino cherries and add a candy cane.

Notes

Best served chilled. This drink is non-alcoholic, making it suitable for all ages. Customize with different flavors or garnishes as desired.
