A delightful dessert featuring green swirls and refreshing minty flavor, perfect for celebrations and St. Patrick’s Day.

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs (like Oreos)
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • A few drops of green food coloring
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream, whipped (or 1 tub of whipped topping)
  • 1/4 cup melted chocolate
  • Whipped cream for garnish
  • Chocolate shavings or chips for garnish
  • Green sprinkles or edible glitter for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust: In a mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie dish. Refrigerate while preparing the filling.
  2. Make the Filling: In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Mix in the peppermint extract and green food coloring. Fold in the whipped cream until light and fluffy.
  3. Create the Swirl: Pour the filling into the crust, smooth the top, and drizzle melted chocolate. Use a knife or toothpick to create a marbled effect.
  4. Chill: Refrigerate for at least 4 hours until fully set.
  5. Garnish and Serve: Decorate with whipped cream, chocolate shavings, and green sprinkles.
  6. Enjoy: Slice and serve chilled for a refreshing, minty treat!

Notes

For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free cookie crumbs for the crust. This pie can also be frozen for up to a month.
