Mango Turmeric Lemonade

A refreshing and healthy drink made with ripe mango, turmeric, and lemon, perfect for hot days.

Ingredients

  • 1 big, ripe mango (or about 1 cup frozen)
  • 2 lemons, juiced
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 34 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 3 cups cold water, plus extra for adjusting
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • Ice, lots of it
  • A few lemon slices or mint sprigs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Peel and chop the mango.
  2. Juice the lemons directly into the blender.
  3. Add the chopped mango, turmeric, honey, a splash of water, and black pepper to the blender.
  4. Blend until smooth. Adjust sweetness and thickness by adding more honey or water as needed.
  5. Pour over ice and garnish with lemon slices or mint sprigs if desired.

Notes

This drink keeps well in the fridge for three days. Shake before serving as ingredients may settle.
